Our first Ecommerce checkout page is launched for online retailers to accept payments using a range of major cards and popular payment methods, benefiting from our frictionless integrations. We're now helping merchants across the UK generate online sales via their checkout pages

Our first valued Ecommerce customer started in July 2019, and we're now serving tens of thousands of Ecommerce retailers and businesses across the UK, helping them with their checkout pages and online sales

Our first version of our Merchant Portal launches in July 2019 to help our merchants track, monitor, manage and report on their business's sales and transactions, all in the one place and at the touch of a finger. Our Merchant Portal is easy-to-use, helping businesses concentrate on selling and their bottom line.

We acquired CR7 Services, a UK-based payment solutions provider. Advised by Proskauer Rose LLP and PwC LLP, the transaction marked our first acquisition as we looked to expand. Since being established in 2014, CR7 grew substantially by providing UK retailers with sophisticated, secure and reliable payment acceptance solutions via CR7's two businesses: Optomany & 123Send.

We reached a key milestone in 2019 with 30,000 customers transacting across the UK, and we've since grown our merchant base to over 65,000, more than double since October 2019. We can't wait to see what the next few years bring and genuinely value our customers - thank you.

We continued to expand our service offering to merchants and global footprint through the acquisition of Zash AB, a Swedish fintech company providing Point of Sale Software and Payments services to over 1,000 clients in the UK, across the EU, and Latin America and Brazil

Our first Payment Link solution was launched to market in March 2020, adding to our Online payments portfolio and expanding our Merchants' ways in which they can pay and use our services with the customers for quick and convenient sales

Another massive growth milestone in 2019, when we reached 40,000 merchants transacting across the UK, and we've since grown our merchant base to over 65,000, with over 25,000 new merchants since December 2019. We launched our Pay by Bank app product, an online checkout option that lets consumers pay using the bank app on their phone, making the online checkout process more straightforward, whilst using all the security of their bank

We acquired Active Merchant Services in 2021 (also known as Active Payments), a UK-based independent sales organisation with more than 2,500 merchants, bringing our customer base to c. 40,000 merchants and 57,000 terminals in the UK

We launched our PayPal payment method as an alternative payment option for our Ecommerce checkouts, helping online merchants in the UK to increase sales to thousands of PayPal users

We introduce our first Partners' dashboard, allowing our Partners to submit applications to our products and services, order terminals and manage their merchants

The partnership brought Ecospend's Open Banking innovative payments service to our Group portfolio of 30,000 merchants. Alongside their existing suite of products, the solution offered a new alternative way for merchants to accept payments. 

We enabled Apple Payments to our merchants in the UK to add to the payment methods we can offer customers, ensuring quick and frictionless payments and reaching new Apple users

We made the strategic acquisition of EFT Solutions, a company focused on implementing Card Machine Managing Software and Android Mobile Apps and a widely used on 400,000 POS terminals across Europe!

We successfully raised £100 Million to accelerate growth and make new acquisitions, a deal signed with Alchemy Partners in the UK and one that has seen our Group expand into 9 companies and 300 plus staff

Our new PAX and Verifone card terminal software was proudly rolled out across the UK, powering quick and secure transactions for merchants using our terminals in the UK

We launched our joint Ecommerce payment integration platform with BigCommerce, a leading Open SaaS solution provider. The partnership enabled clients of our Group to receive online payments on BigCommerce's platform via the payment plugin in the BigCommerce app store, giving BigCommerce clients the ability to use us as their acquirer in return.

We continued our UK growth strategy by acquiring Kwalitas, a payment solutions provider based in Peterborough. The acquisition strengthened the product and service offering of Kwalitas, with our established range of niche, high-quality solutions and services, enabling both companies to integrate, develop, and implement new services and goals.

We proudly announced our essential partnership with Verifone championing innovation and reliability within the payments sector by launching the Verifone Trinity Series POS in the UK

We continued our UK growth strategy with the acquisition of Card Cutters, a card acceptance and payment solutions specialist headquartered in Worksop, with operations in the UK and Ireland

Following our £100 million fundraise from Alchemy Partners in 2021, we marked our 7th acquisition with the strategic purchase of First Payment Merchant Services, a payment solutions provider based in Surrey, UK. FPMS is a well-known player in the payments sector and a partner of choice for more than 10,000 customers across the UK.

After a solid first quarter of growth, we proudly achieved 100,000 card payment terminals and online points of sale in April 2021. This significant milestone for the Group came after announcing recent acquisitions and explosive organic growth in the first quarter of 2022 across SME and Corporate customers.

We selected Signifyd’s technology as our key commerce protection solution to increase conversion and reduce fraud for merchants in its ecosystem. Signifyd announced they would be our featured integrated fraud protection technology, signalling their expanding role in serving as the fraud solution provider for future-focused payment service providers.

Our new axept® PRO Android app User Interface is launched, giving users a range of features and functionality to streamline their business's payments processes and improve the overall customer buying experience. 

DNA Payments acquiring service is fully compliant with 3DS v2, and our merchants are safe knowing that we've got them covered with a secure, streamlined and frictionless payment authentication process.

Our new and improved Merchant Portal is launched, giving our merchants even more features, functionality and control to track and monitor their Online and POS payments and manage their Online transactions, payment methods, team and more.
