The launch sees the company delivering the new card scheme on top of a full suite of card acceptance and alternative payment methods, and opens potential new markets for merchants to international customers, with UnionPay being global.
UnionPay card payments will help merchants who have it enabled with verticals such as tourism, schools, leisure, sports, hotels, and hospitality, where consumers use these cards as their preferred way to pay for goods and services or to book online, 24/7, anywhere in the world, helping reduce cart abandonment.
UnionPay transactions made via DNA Payments’ Website Payments and Payment Links solutions are settled directly, detailed on merchants’ monthly statements, and accessed, managed, and monitored in real-time via the Merchant Portal.
