DNA Payments launches UnionPay online card payments
UK-based fintech DNA Payments has expanded its online card acceptance with the launch of UnionPay, giving consumers even more ways to pay via its Website Payments and Payment Links Ecommerce products.

The launch sees the company delivering the new card scheme on top of a full suite of card acceptance and alternative payment methods, and opens potential new markets for merchants to international customers, with UnionPay being global.

With UnionPay, eligible merchants in the tourism, schools, leisure, sports, hotels, and hospitality sectors and more, can now accept card payments from consumers who prefer this payment method, helping reduce cart abandonment and provide a more seamless shopping experience, 24/7, from anywhere in the world.

UnionPay transactions made via DNA Payments’ Website Payments and Payment Links solutions are settled directly, detailed on merchants’ monthly statements, and accessed, managed, and monitored in real-time via the Merchant Portal.

Arif Babayev and Nurlan Zhagiparov, Co-Founders of DNA Payments, said: "Enabling UnionPay for our Website Payments and Payment Links E-commerce products is a testament to our commitment to introducing global, online card acceptance to the UK market. This move also addresses the needs of our merchants, helping them thrive, reduce cart abandonment at checkout and grow in the digital economy."
