Why do I need to update my Card Machine's configuration?
Configuration updates are required to apply any changes made to your Card Machine. The updates can include changes to your receipt details, the Merchant Number (MID) you use or even what User IDs can process refunds. A configuration update is how the changes are applied to the Card Machine, so the new, updated details take effect. You'll typically only have to update your Card Machine's configuration if instructed by our Support Team member.
What are automatic configuration updates?
Automatic configuration updates happen periodically, usually if there hasn't been a configuration update for an extended period. Please let the Card Machine complete the update when these take place and don't turn it off.
What is a manual configuration update?
Manual configuration updates are only necessary if our Support Team has advised after making changes that must apply to your Card Machine
